Mind-Body Wisdom: A Day of Creative Flow

Sometimes we all need a gentle pause , a chance to stretch, breathe, and remember what makes us feel whole again. That’s exactly what our recent Wellbeing Day at Ballarat South Uniting Church (as part of the Village Church Network) was all about.

The hall was filled with soft music, quiet corners for journaling, meditation spaces, and even the labyrinth to walk slowly and find calm. It wasn’t about “getting it right” but about giving ourselves permission to slow down and try something new.

When we asked participants how it felt, the responses said it all:
“So relaxing.” “Lovely to be with like-minded people.” “You are so generous, the food was great!”✨ “I’m going home calmer.” " I felt like Im in safe space."

Those words remind us why we do what we do. This wasn’t just a wellbeing workshop; it was community, it was connection, it was a breath of fresh air for body and spirit.
