About Us

Ballarat South Uniting Church is a vibrant, open-hearted community made up of Buninyong Uniting and Meredith. We are part of the Village Churches Network, a group of local churches that break barriers and build bridges, creating spaces where people can explore their faith, experience belonging, and grow in community.

Together, we share knowledge, skills, and resources, supporting one another as we discover new ways of being church while continuing to honour and sustain traditional worship. Alongside this, we host inclusive community events, creative gatherings, and our much-loved Sebastopol Open Door Op Shop, welcoming everyone to connect, grow, and feel at home.

At the heart of who we are is a commitment to belonging, compassion, and community. We value faith that is lived out in action, building bridges across generations and cultures. We celebrate creativity as we explore new ways of being church while honouring tradition, and we hold onto hope as we work together to sustain one another and our communities in the 21st century.
